Professional Bio – Dahir Abdulle Alasow

Dahir Abdulle Alasow is an independent investigative journalist based in the Netherlands.
He is known for exposing corruption, financial crime, political abuses and human rights violations in East Africa and within diaspora communities. His investigations have led to public accountability, legal debate and international attention.

He is currently completing his autobiographical book "Narrow Escape”, which documents his personal and professional experiences — including the threats, attacks and assassination attempts he survived due to speaking truth to power. The book also reflects on the challenges of exile journalism and the global struggle for press freedom.
